Get to know our artists as they speak about the music industry with a pre-show discussion on how much progress and change has been made for Black artists, their presence, and the styles today. We bring you beats of classic fusion of old and new and alternative introspective RnB, groove, Soul and suburban blues. With a stunning line-up of local Liverpool music, a pre-show panel discussion with all the artists and special guest Yaw Owusu. Hosted by Jennifer John.

Tabitha Jade

A female RnB artist performing from her new EP titled “ No Label “ creating a sense of ownership of identity, having no label attached  and having a futuristic attitude in the music industry. Her music shows the love for a groove, she strives to challenge the stereotypes within the contemporary RnB market.

Subblue

Taking his name from his self-described style of music, “suburban blues”, Sub Blue offers a fresh take on chilled out, alternative introspective R&B. His soulful music explores universal themes such as the angst of youth, societal and peer pressures, and the ills of social media.

Shak Omar

Bringing a classic old school sound of RnB with a more modern flow-based style with glimpses of his early MC days from his new EP Medicinal in November 2020.

LeeTz 

A female artist, rapper, singer song writer and Co-Founder of The Cut entertainment label her music is social, political, explicitly expressing the need for change in the class system and systemic injustices. She plays an integral part in championing female rappers and singers in Liverpool.
