Volunteer with us as part of the festival, you will benefit from networking and meeting new people and liaise with staff in established arts organisations. Your travel and expenses will be covered. BlackFest will provide a reference, if at any time you need one.

Workshop Facilitators
We have opportunities for paid placements for community projects we are seeking facilitators in creative writing, spoken word and drama. If you have workshops you facilitate that is of benefit to the community please also apply. If you can commit some time in July 2019, we would be happy to hear from you.

BlackFest is seeking four new Directors for our Board.
It is an exciting time to join our Board here at BlackFest. We’re a continually growing grass roots organisation who work with talented Black artists creating an exceptional festival programme as well as nurturing a vibrant arts community throughout the year via educational and empowering projects.
We are seeking to develop our Board to enhance our cultural offer. This is an opportunity to build skills, contribute to cultural life and grow your networks.
Enthusiasm and passion for the arts and for supporting the work of Black artists, musicians and performers is a must alongside having the energy and time to further develop our mission.
We particularly welcome applicants with the following skillsets and attributes:
· Knowledge and understanding of the arts and not-for-profit sector
· Understanding of best practice operational and governance structures
· Financial and business acumen including accounting expertise
